A Sensible Grid from the Department of Energy

Department of energy uses a sensible grid to organize the distribution of energy across the land. The transmission technique delivers electricity from power plants to distribution substations, whereas the distribution routine delivers electricity from distribution plants on. The Sensible Grid is conducting a series of forums debates around various issues surrounding prices, advantagess, etc.. around the use of this particular grid. A smart grid is an umbrella term that covers modernization of both the transmission and distribution grids. The establishing of the automation and monitoring capabilities needed for bulk transmission at cross continent distances, and enabling the use of sell forces to drive this technology is key. Several smart grid features are appartent to customers such as smart meters serve the energy potency goal.
